The fastest way to reach us is email: hello@avero.aydex.nl. We aim to reply within 2 business days for most questions, and within 1 business day for anything that's blocking you from using the app.
To help us help you faster, please include:
- The email address attached to your Avero account.
- Your device model and iOS version (e.g., iPhone 15, iOS 18.2).
- The Avero build number (Settings → About in the app).
- A short description of what you were doing and what happened.
- A screenshot or screen recording if the issue is visual.
2. Common questions
I joined the waitlist — when do I get in?
We're inviting people in batches as we ramp up the TestFlight beta. If you signed up, you'll get an email with your invite link as soon as your batch opens. Check your spam folder if it's been a while — invites come from hello@avero.aydex.nl.
How do I install the TestFlight beta?
Install Apple's TestFlight app on your iPhone, then open the invite link we emailed you. TestFlight will install Avero alongside your other apps. Future updates arrive through TestFlight as well.
Avero crashed / something looks broken.
Sorry about that — beta software does beta things. Email us with the details from the checklist above and we'll dig in. If the crash is reproducible, a screen recording is gold.
I want to request a feature.
Please do. We read every suggestion and prioritise based on what keeps coming up. Email hello@avero.aydex.nl with the subject line "Feature request" and tell us what you wish Avero could do — and, if you can, the situation where you'd use it.
How do I leave a group / remove a member?
Open the group, tap the group name at the top, then choose Leave group. Group owners can remove members from the same screen. Leaving a group doesn't delete the contributions you made — see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Your personal data is erased within 30 days (some data may persist briefly in encrypted backups before they cycle out — typically 90 days). If the in-app option isn't working for you, email us and we'll do it manually.
How do I export my data?
Email hello@avero.aydex.nl with the subject line "Data request" and we'll send you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, in a structured machine-readable format, within 30 days.
I forgot my password.
Tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a reset link. If you don't receive it within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then email us if it's still missing.
Is Avero available on Android?
Not yet. The beta is iOS-only via TestFlight. An Android version is on the roadmap — if you want it, let us know so we can prioritise.
Does Avero cost money?
No — Avero is free during the TestFlight beta. We don't collect payment information and we don't run ads. If we ever introduce paid features after public launch, we'll communicate that clearly well in advance.
3. Reporting a security issue
If you've found a security vulnerability — something that could let someone access data they shouldn't — please email hello@avero.aydex.nl with the subject line "Security" and a description of the issue. Please don't share the details publicly until we've had a chance to fix it. We'll acknowledge your report within 2 business days.
4. Privacy & data requests
Questions about how we handle your data, requests to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data — all go to the same address with the subject line "Data request". The full details of your rights are in our Privacy Policy.
5. Press & partnerships
For media enquiries, partnership ideas, or anything else not covered above, email hello@avero.aydex.nl and we'll route it to the right person (which, during the beta, is usually still us).
